We hold five auctions per year of cigarette and trade cards, postcards, theatre and cinema ephemera in addition to a twice-yearly auction of sporting memorabilia covering boxing, tennis, golf, the Olympics, motor and horse racing, cricket, rugby league and union, football and speedway. Most of these live auctions comprise 2000-3000 lots.
We also stage two postal auctions per annum of approximately 600 lots of postcards and cigarette cards.
Our next auction is is a general sale containing lots of cigarette cards, ephemera, postcards etc. The auction is a postal and internet bidding auction only and ends at midday on the 15/01 and, as usual, the catalogue is available online.
IMPORTANT PLEASE READ - The format of our autograph auctions has changed - autographs sales will be handled by our partner - International Autograph Auctions (IAA). (click here for details)
The online catalogue can be viewed on the IAA website http://www.autographauctions.co.uk/
We accept postal, telephone, fax and e-mail bids as well as bids made via this site for our live auctions and an illustrated and searchable catalogue is available online or you can order a printed version from this site.
Unfortunately we have had to raise the price of our printed catalogues for the sporting memorabilia auctions. From now on they will cost £12 for addresses in the UK, £13 for European address and £15 elsewhere.
The business, founded in 1989, has become synonymous with old-fashioned English service whilst keeping up with modern day methods of communications.
