Just to quick note for any of our old customers who are now dealing with us through IAA Ltd. Please be aware that we do not run the office for this business and that all enquiries must go through the correct channels. Details are below for you. Whilst we still run the salerooms and Trevor is still a Director the office is now in a different part of town and is run by Mr Richard Davie. We cannot do payments for you, send out catalogues or deal with complaints as we do not deal with this side any more. The two businesses are separate.

General Pointers
After sales -
Buyers, please do note that if you have left bids with us we will not contact you if you are unsuccessful. We sometimes have in excess of 300 bidders and to go through and contact everyone would be impossible, also it is not programmed into our computer to send out unsuccessul bid sheet details. If you are wishing to know results then please ring us and we will be happy to tell you them.
Sellers - please note you are only sent statements when your cheques are sent out. Please ring us to if you require any information about your items and how they did in the sale.
To all buyers, please do allow us a little time after the sales to be able to get your items together and packed and weighed. This takes a considerable amount of time and man power to get done so we cannot get it done in a day i'm afraid. We have to check all bids first in case of error and then we must sort the goods into who has bought what. Once this is done the packing may commence. Then we need to weigh these packets and calculate the costs to add to your invoice. To the people that ring up the next day expecting their item packed and ready to go, i'm afraid it is physicaly impossible to do with a 2000 lot sale and 250 customers. :)

NEXT SALE
Our next sale is the 15th January and this is a postal auction. The next main collectors sale after this is the 5th and 6th February. Catalogues are £6 for this sale. The sale will be online around 2 weeks before the sale.
POSTAL SALE RESULTS
Please note that postal sales close at Midday. We do not release results for the sale until the next but one day. To be able to release results the very next day we would need to put 2000 prices and buyers onto the computer, run off 400 bidder sheets and double check them all between the hours of midnight and 9am. As i am sure everyone can appreciate, this is not feasible. The office staff work extremely hard to make sure results are available quickly and i would ask that when phoning for results you do not telephone until 9am the next but one day.
e.g sale shuts at midday tuesday, results from Thursday 9am.

COLLECTIONS
We are reguarly travelling the country and are pleased to call in to collect lots for auction. We also undertake valuations for insurance and probate, charges will apply.
Unfortunately if we do not have any other jobs in your area then it is a case of waiting until there are other jobs near you for us to do a trip around your area.
Please do take note that we do not offer a valuation service on items that are not being presented for auction. If items have come in for auction we are happy to give you a rough early idea to put your mind at ease about your item.
CONSIGNMENTS FOR AUCTION
Please note that goods coming in for auction must be with us between 8-10 weeks prior to auction. The sales fill up quickly and we cannot always guarentee you space if they are late coming in.
ITEM DETAILS/PICTURES
If you require more information on a lot then please feel free to email us. We can provide (within reason) extra condition reports, more details and pictures. If we can access the lot in question then you will be emailed prior to sale week. Sometimes though items cannot be accessed until the saleday setup on the Monday so please do not be alarmed if we do not email you until the Monday evening.
