The cause of the failure in the first and second regulation and development movements is that the law reform projects have been developed and implemented with out enough understanding of the mechanism by which LFIs impact financial and social growth, which is affected by various socio-economic factors on the ground.

Drawing on the scholarship traditions of Law & Economics, Regulation & Growth, and normative moral theories of worldwide law and establishments, her analysis adopts an interdisciplinary approach to be able to analyse the problem of sovereign bankruptcy via economic, political financial system, developmental, and philosophic views.

My PhD thesis builds on my LLM dissertation, entitled: ‘The rights of youngsters in post-battle societies as seen by means of the lens of kid troopers: a brand new framework for worldwide law.’ My analysis on the rights of child troopers in Uganda and Colombia highlighted the importance of contextual and identity-primarily based components in understanding why youngsters turn into involved in conflict, and how these components impression reintegration into their communities.

Current research interests embody the social dimensions of regional integration; the political economy of African regional integration initiatives, together with the African Union, the Continental Free Commerce Space and the African Economic Community; and the event of a nuanced methodological strategy to regional integration in Africa named regional developmentalism by legislation.

Between 2010 and 2013 she was a part of the Zimbabwean analysis team on a regional examine protecting Kenya, Malawi, South Africa and Zimbabwe on Human Rights, Gender and Water Governance” funded by the Norwegian Research Council and coordinated by the Institute of Women’s Regulation on the College of Oslo and SEARCWL, University of Zimbabwe.
